We might be still hiring in the Parts Department.

If you have an Resume, Forward it to my gmail at chrisdpham@gmail and I'll look into it. I'll let you know opening positions tomorrow.

Yorba Linda isn't far - My assistant Manager lives in YB and a few of the Parts guys who work the front counter live in Anaheim Hills/Yorba Linda.

16mm Films

Anyone know of anyone with old 16mm films they are willing to part with? I just bought an old film projector and screen from a surplus sale at my school. I now have the task of collecting the films, preferably old educational films. I check ebay, but I thought I would check here too.

I live in riverside, but the office I work for is in YB.

I actually end up working a lot father than that most of the time, I take school photos so Im at different locations all over socal every day.

Hmm...while we're on the subject of discounts. If I were to buy a key off ebay would you be able to have it cut for me? And if so how much? The guy I bought my car from only had 1 and I figure I need a spare just in case.

I honestly don't know the answer to your question in regards to the key; but we usually have customers provide has a valid drivers license along with the copy of their registration in order for us to order any key for them. So I wouldn't be able to do it for you, but I'll check on it tomorrow.

haha I would obviously bring the key in myself. I had an idea how that works.

Just curious if youd be able to apply any discount for a fellow MB member.

Not asking you to go out of your way or risk getting in trouble or anything. Im not a completely selfish cheapskate, but if I can save part of the $73 someone at Walter's MB wants to charge me, its worth it to ask.

i was in anaheim again today off ball road and was totally gonna swing by the dealership out there, but had no idea where it was.

Yeah, I can get discounts no problem.

What part were you looking for?

I live right off of Ball and Euclid or Ball & Loara to be specific. House of Imports is located right Past Magnolia & Orangethorpe. After you past Magnolia you make a right on Auto Center Dr.

I was off ball and euclid.

It might not actually have been anaheim, but close enough.

Right now Im just worried about getting that key cut. I wasnt even gonna buy that off ebay if it was gonna cost more than like $20-ish to cut it.

But Im gonna need some other stuff in time. I have my smog-pump bypassed, and unless I want to drive all the way to LA and have a friend pass it for me every time, I need that replaced by next year. Some other stuff...antenna. Ummm..Im guessing your grill is not an MB part but off ebay? I want a 86-93 one. super sexy.

Yeah, I got my grill originally on Ebay.

You're talking about getting the primered one off of ebay?

The primer quality is kind of cheap. It'll start peeling - Hell ... I don't think they are really primered. Its more like flat black to me.

You would be better off getting the key from the dealer...they run your VIN i believe and know how to cut it from that....i had my whole tumbler replaced and they went that route so that i would have two separate keys, one for the doors and the other for the ignition....and $30 sounds about right....sometimes ebay will sell brass keys and you dont want that....

Okay, I can probably do it around 15-20 with my price but I'll have to double check if I can do it with your blank.

I believe they said fully powder coated. Ill have to double check on that now.

I painted mine with cheap wal mart paint just to get an idea if it was worth spending the money for a quality one. Love the look. So mean. Maybe Ill get pics.

Anyways...I wanted one of those flip keys with the big MB logo on em. Dunno. Just a little more modern. Do you guys have those?

Dude, you have no idea how freakin' pissed I was at that.

They tell me they put all personal mail in a seperate bin, and it sounds to me like a bunch of BS.

I dont really know what happened to it and you should have gotten it already I gave a complaint to the mail room clerk and he said he would look into it.

I'll do it again and this time I'll send it myself.

It's a big deal to me, and I hope it gets resolve or I want reinbursement.

What is it? I was assuming it was something goofy, but now you're making it sound valuable. And I didn't get anything for you...

You gave me a disk which is a goldmine of information, plus it saves me lord-knows how much money in the long run.

so YES my good man, you gave me something indeed.

It's a present for you and yours truly dont worry you will get it soon.

yes it has value but that's not the point, the point is it could have been something stupid and goofy and it wouldn't have made a difference, I trust these people.

It has alot to do with the fact that the mailroom clerk went on vacation the following day.

Any time, Henry!

You guys are my friends, and after moving to Texas and spending 5 years in school, then spending the last 5 trying to get my practices going, you guys are basically the only friends I have right now. I know, what a phag, but it's true. So if there's anything that you guys ever need, just let me know.
