I don't know exactly how many hp you could expect from p&p on a mercedes head, but you get the most gains from that with an engine that is not very precisely finished, such as older hondas or vw's, but even then that's one of those mods that you save for after doing the intake, exhaust, cams, etc.
You may get more gains from lighter pistons, probably better throttle response, too.
If you really want to dump some cash into your car, do this:
1. K&N or other high flow air filter
2. 2 1/2" exhaust with free flowing muffler
3. Performance cams
4. Resurface the head to increase compression
5. Stroker kit
6. Port & polish
7. New pistons
8. Engine balanced
9. Lighten the flywheel
Now, I haven't researched these mods as far as the m103 or m104 engine is concerned, so some may not exist and some may not increase hp enough to be worthwhile. this would be good stuff for you to research to determine which you should do.
oh - P&P can be done DIY, but it takes some skill to get it perfect and assloads of time.

The whole kit along with the spoiler.
The wheels - I couldn't pass the extremely good deal. We'll see how it looks if not I can turn it around and sell them and make a good amount of profit.

Nice! The kit will look pimp, altough I am biased
The wheels, perhaps when re-finished and mounted it'll be easier to make a call and yeah you could just sell em if you don't think they work.

The only problem is that I don't know what AMG spoiler I order because I can figure out which spoiler belongs to which part number. For all I know it can be the 3-piece ducktail, the one with the integrated taillight or the rear AMG trunk lip spoiler.

You coward
how can I learn from your mistakes that way.
I've got a detailer lined up to restore my paint as best is possible. Thats the first or second week in May. At that point I take the parts by the paintshop and they grab a colour sample and do their work. The Side skirts are dead simple as is the rear apron. I'll take my time with the front spoiler to ensure its aligned correctly. Theres also the issue of aiming the Driving Lamps. That you have to do by hand with a screwdriver.

Yeah. Are the brackets for the front and rear the same as the ones we have now by any chance???
I'm still curious as where the plastic pivets and rivets go...![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
I noticed that the driving lamps only go on with the highbeams on. I don't know if the wiring is different with yours but that's a little too weird for me. I'll be rewiring those. Also, I'm thinking about putting H3 HID's in there for kicks.
or... PIAA's extreme white bulbs.

Its my understanding that both the spoiler and the apron make use of the standard brackets and requires no custom work for proper fitting.
Also curious about the bulbs... I'll give them a shot but I'll probably swap them out for a set of Euro Osram bulbs.
They kick in with the high beams? I didn't pay attention to the wiring. That doesn't make too much sense. I'd say go ahead and swap that around. Pencil beams mounted so low you shouldn't have to worry about glare.
EDIT - did you double check to see if your shipment was complete?

Yeah, I checked everything that came with the front bumper with the instruction manual you sent me. Everything was there thank god.
yeah, I plugged the driving lights to my friends euro's and they only kick in when the high beams are on for some odd reason. Kind of makes sense though since they are driving lights and all...

Did a search at mercedes shop, seven bolts hold the front spoiler on. About the same for the rear apron. Those may require the removal or displacement of the trunk lining to get at.

Yeah no kidding. I think it's a lame feature and pointless to have since that doesn't fly over here in the USA.
I'm going to rewire the pins to different locations so they either come on with the fogs or the headlights.
