Green beliefs?
NOTHING is greener than reusing an older car!
Having them build a new car for you every 4 years like most drivers, and trading in hybrids which are not standardized yet, etc. really is not very green.
Running a 20 year old car is far more green than having them make a new volt for you.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Well, in terms of manufacting and reduced use of materials maybe. Truth is though, the 300ce does not have the cleanest exhaust and it is a little heavy on the gas consumption at times.
The Smart remedies both of these conditions and is almost 100% recyclable to boot.

Mostly, I like the opinion I stated, so I choose to believe it.
But run a Volt for 10 years then recycle it and you've kicked enviro-tail.

There are standards for materials that help them to be remanufacturable/recyclable that Mercedes took into consideration when choosing the materials for the car. Also, the whole exterior body panels can be exchanged and are then remanufactured/recycled.
And yes, we are capable of recycling nearly any material we just choose to be short-sighted and lazy. I won't argue the flaws of human beings.

I stumbled across this thread by looking for Removing Side markers for the w204 and I sat here and read 1 - 50 pages of this thread and i can't believe it's still up Lol.
Let's just say some of the things i've read on here are very interesting.
Question for Chris D.
You are a photographer right?

Speaking of VWVortex, may I ask a favor of you Matt?
If you happen across any dubber selling a set of the 16" CLK320 Forged wheels for reasonable, could you shoot me the info? I'm having a bear of a time finding them for cheap or at all and I know most of our sets ended up on dubs so..
