Yeah, it's pretty fun. I did a lot of drifting in my w108 when I was in HS when we got a rare NW snow. This year it is something else, I think it is the most snow I can remember. I am running home to the west side of the Mtns this weekend to take care of some stuff for a conference I got comming up, I might be able to get my dad to get a vid clip. He told me that they got dumped with 7 inches of snow in Bellingham last night, this morning the plow came through the neighborhood but the road turned to sheet ice soon after, too bad for the garbage truck, he couldn't make it up the hill apparently, and my dad said it was pretty funny seeing a garbage truck outside our house with smoke pouring out of the rear wheels as he sat there and lit up the tires as he tried to get traction. LOL, i wish I had THAT on camera
Spinning broadies is fun in a parking lot, but it gets old, the real fun is intersections, like on the street just outside my apartment, we have had snow on the streets here for the longest damn time, I am sick of it, but when I run out to the store it is fun to start the turn, then hit the throttle just rite and drift sideways into the proper lane.
I think it is actually good to know how the car handles and what the limits are, as long as it is done in a safe place.

Absolutely, I only toy around when no one else can get hurt by it. I want to know how my car handles so (god forbid) i do lose control in a situation on the road I am capable of recovering.
