It's supposed to be done by Monday, which means I'll probably drive out there on Tuesday morning (6 hours round trip to San Antonio). At least there won't be any snow. It's supposed to get all the way down to 43 degrees on Tuesday - BRRRRRRRRRR!
LOL I just have to rub that in on you guys living up north!

Sent, and as far as handling... eh, as long as you keep your momentum going, it isn't bad at all, but if you stop, and want to go up hill, as they say in jersey "fahgettaboudit" If you have people in the car, the weight really helps, but I rarely have a full load of folks when I am dinking around in the mountains. My w108 was my college car in OR, and I would take that thing up night skiing at Mt.Hood. No snow tires or chains, but loaded with 3-4 guys and snow gear, it kicked *** in the snow, so i figure this would too with the right weight. I have Michelin snow tires, and chains if i get stuck, but my TE was a cali car before i bought it, so it doesn't have traction control, or heated seats. Two things I really want. Oh well.
