just dropped the car today.

I managed to drop the car today in 100 degree weather!

I put on vogtland springs and bilstein HD shocks. The rears were really easy and took about an hour to do both sides. THe fronts is a whole different story. Luckly, I had access to a Klann spring compressor. I changed the front strut mounts at the same time as well. I put a no. 2 pad in front and 3 in back. Turns out I need a 4 in front. It's too low and rubs when i take a sharp right turn. Otherwise it's fine. I will be ordering the #4 tomorrow and install the rear camber arms at the same time and then get an alignment done. I will post pics shortly. The car is a 400e.

Why did you go with Bilstein HD's and not the Sports? Also, I'm using #4's in the front as well. Congrats on the drop.

i forgot to mention i rolled the rear fenders. Fronts are pretty rolled already. Using AMG 17" monoblocks x 7.5" and et 35.

I did not want a very harsh ride and that is the reason I did not go with the sports. I know the sports are shorter and would have suited my setup better but many people are using the HD's. If the HD's crap out, then I will get the sports. How is the ride with sports?

i also say you switch the front #2 pad to the rear b/c the rear looks a little high. Since you rolled the fenders and what not, rubbing shouldn't be an issue.
