but I'm VERY DOUBTFULL this kit came from a car with a HAMMER engine or name on it as that itself is questionable information. so calling it a hammer kit is kinda questionable and sounds like its being used to intensify the Value...

If your referring to the part where the license plate sits....its not a AMG part, it is a factory MB part that came standard on all W124's built after 1990. It can be retro-fitted to pre 1991 vehicles very easy and updates the appearance of your vehicle.
