You can get them from a junk yard from W124s that didn't come with headlight wipers. You just have to paint them the same color to match your car.

At the dealership.

They are really cheap.

But you must specify that they are for a 260E since those are the only ones without the wiper holes.

wrong my friend, the 300e 2.8 (280e) came without wipers also.

Katmac sells them as a $25 extra. Click here then scroll down:

You NEED to take out both the headlight and corner if your going to switch wiper panels or dismount the wiper motors. It is so much easier without so much crap in your way...

The panel itself is held by two screws, one near the radiator/grille and one UNDERNEATH the corner lens.

cool, thanks man. i just wanted to pull off the wipers and then put them back on, but i guess i have to remove everything first. i guess i remove the lights, then the screws for the panel, and it should be obvious how it all comes out after that?

thanks!

just the wipers or the wiper arms??

4 screws hold your headlights intact.

2 near radiator/grille one upper, one lower (good luck with lower one, it's a pain in the *** to get to. you need a special wrench with a slight curve to get to it (NATURAL shows a picture of said tool, he recommended it to me. It is located in the first couple of pages of "CALLING CHRISDPHAM")

2 near headlight/corner lens frame one upper, one lower
and also each headlight has a tab that holds them in place. You will find these on the very top of the headlights where they meet the frame. these brake quite easy, so its handy to buy some in advance.

good luck.

PS: You dont really need a special tool to remove the lower radiator/grille screw, but it would help big time as a regular 13" wrench is going to have a hard time getting those groves...

You will see what I'm talking about, its a b!tch to get to because the air intake mouth is in the way, therefore you could remove it but thats more work and also a b!tch to remove!

sorry I hope not to discourage.
