I think its cool that the couple of you who are good at PS take the time to do some favors for other fellow members...I have a buddy who is a member on a supra forum and there is a section where you can post a pic of you car and a brief description on what you want done to your car and someone does a PS of it....too bad we dont have that same section on this forum. I bet it will be useful to many who arent good at PS. Maybe the moderators will come across this thread and take it into consideration on make a new section that does so....BTW, nice envision of your ride Hound.

hehe thanks, yea I hope It gets there someday
Yea that is a great Idea! I do what I can and certainly don't consider myself a wiz at PS, but I take my time and pay attention to the little details that can make something look fake and do my best to make sure they are eliminated to the best of my ability. Zorro also has talent In PS as I can see But yes that Idea I have seen on other forums, and it's a good idea, gives people the chance to see what their cars will look like, for the most part, when they have all the mods done that they want. That said, if anyone wants something like this done, for the time being, may as well just make a thread here with a pic (preferably from the side or of the side on an angle like this pic) and what you'd like done, and I'm sure If I can't do it, someone here can

Chris, I have a fantastic idea for you. Sell the Jag and buy this car:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...php?p=15507659
This link came from the "Our friend Ryan might be selling out" thread. He's on this board, and he's done tons of mods to the car.... seriously!! consider this one, man!!! I would buy it if the timing were better!!

Okay, check out this pic that Chris (badbenz) sent me. This is what I'm going for. This 190 is the same color as my car, with flat black rims. I would do lots of the stuff we already discussed (i.e. tint, color-match lower half, add clear corners, and maybe paint the grille the same flat black as the rims). But this gives you an idea of what I'm going for.
I know lots of you guys think I should do some variation of brown, but I just can't seem to make friends with that look. Sorry! Tell me what you think of this pic:

glad i made your day, honestly you car was one of the first ones that I came across when searching for benz forums, and I just fell in love with it...
If you have higher rez pics I'd love to receve them bt.hound@gmail is the email that you could send them to, that would be awesome thanks a bunch
Pete:
I like the look your going for, and that 190 looks sweeettt!!!
BTW, the reason I have the BMW roudel in there is cause I'm also a hardcore BMW guy lol, well a little more on the BMW side right now, as that is the group that I first joined when I got the E60 530i.

So, getting back to the original subject of this post...
Bigpete - ZoroAMG has a great point... Do something unique! The champagne color of your car would definitely be better complimented by wheels in a bronze shade. Maybe grey would work, though the bronze would be unique.
The last time I saw something with this color combination was the Boxster concept car...
DO IT! Just have your current rims painted when you have the lower panels & bumpers done.....

That is one clean looking 190E. I love those Evo II wheels. I wanted some for my last w124 so much, but they are pricey. I think they would look smashing.
Btw, I really really recommend powdercoat over paint.

yeah, I've heard powdercoat is way more durable, especially against hot brake dust. I'm worried that powder-coated wheels won't end up looking the way I want them to, though. I want a metallic non-gloss finish on them. From my experience with powder coats, it tends to have a slight sheen to it and they probably don't have a metallic equivalent.
You mentioned earlier that you had your rims sand blasted and powder coated for $400. If I remember correctly, you're in the Seattle area no? I live in Seattle, so I'd definitely like to know where you took your rims so I could discuss it with them. Thanks!

Virtually all bicycle frames are powdercoated, and there are tons of finishes, even metallic (even that awful chameleon color-change crap).
