How do you like these mods?

Hey guys,

A fellow bnzsport member did this photochop for me. I'm trying to think of mod ideas for my car, and this is one of them. Opinions please! Flame if you want. It won't hurt my feelings since I haven't actually done anything to my car here!

(Charcoal wheels, color-matched lower panels, slight tint).

done here's what it would look like pretty much...

the mirror was a ******* to get, didn't come out right, as it was too dark and when lightening it up, I couldn't seem to find a happy medium, but that gives you an Idea none the less. That said DO IT!!!!

Almost forgot to tint it, one sec...

Two different color codes, I'm sure.

I'll look for the Vin Decoder link unless matt (like always) beats me to it.

woa, I've never had one of my threads get so many responses. Thanks everyone. Especially hound for the PS work.

I'm also considering color-matching the grille surround to the rims. Part of me thinks the impact strips on the bumpers would also tie in the dark rims and grille. Tough call though!

Vix- my color is called smoke silver. I forget the color code number. It's something like 709 or 704. I don't remember for sure. As for the lower body cladding, I have no idea what the color is... If you call a dealership with your VIN number they will tell you.

oh btw. Shadowgriffen, my wheels are knock-offs! They aren't real AMG's. But they suit my purposes just fine...

MB 300E | BMW M Coupe
I like hounds first version of your coupe but with you rim color as it is right now, not the charcoal.....just my two cents.....either way, it will look pretty sweet.!

I do think the car looks very nice with the light color rims... but I am biased towards charcoal rims since I just had my 18's powdercoated. I would get your wheels powdercoated and not painted!!! For all 4 of my wheels, I had them sandblasted and base and clear powdercoated for under $400! They look amazing and ther is no orangepeel. The Powdercoat material is also more chemical resistant and so it also stands up to dirt and brakedust much better than paint.

Either way, a very nice Benz. I think if you do paint the lower portion and bumper strips that you should do it the same color as the body and do it in gloss.
