Finally trying to post some pics. Just added the 18x8 ASA ST4s,(thanks Luke) and Eibach springs. Im hoping the springs will settle down some more in the front, Im already on 1 bump pads all around. Let me know what ya'll think.

your car looks nice...i have always wondered how that style of rims looked on a W124. Comes together very nice and nice job on the blacked out grill.

I think they are a perfect look (from experience), and yes I hope the springs settle down more too.

lots of cars
LOOKING GOOD!

what kind of shocks do you have?....i like the way the rear look because it's almost at the edge and once the springs settle down it should be about 1/4 inch lower. The front needs to come down a bit but if u get bilsteins sports in the front i'll make it all nice and even.

Im running the stock struts and shocks for the moment, but that is next on my list. Are you saying that the Bilstien Sports will drop the front some more? Because the high front is getting on my nerves, and I really dont want to invest in another set of springs already.

Thanks for the kind words, I got all my ideas from your cars on these forums.

uh, shocks do not lower a car...different springs or pads will bring that nose down.

yeah, your shocks may lift the car very slightly, but it won't lower the car. I think he was saying that the shocks may lift the rear a bit to make it more level.

Thanks Zoro, I didnt expect shocks to lower the ride. Or the struts for that matter. And as I said, Im on 1 bump pads already.

Now Im new to the Benzs, but my offroad experience tells me that when you raise a truck, you put longer shocks on. Seems possible that perhaps the Bilstein Sports struts are shorter, and would allow the nose down when coupled with shorter progressive springs. Is this what YNV was meaning?

looks good man

I have waited for a while to see how a 124 looks with the eibachs, you're running the prokit right? I have the pro kit next to me here waiting till the spring to be installed, how do you find the ride? is it firmer then before? does the car float still over bumps?

The Eibachs feel great. The ride is almost like the orignal, but when you corner, theres zero body roll. Of course Im feeling all the bumps in the road, but thats from the low sidewalls.

Sorry

In my excitement I posted something that was way out of context. I really like what you have done and would like to know what other plans do you have for your luxury vehicle. I have to say that the lights have really made it look younger not to mention the tires and wheels. The ride must be nice and I can only imagine what it must feel like when you turn a corner. Keep up the great work.

I love the car, mine is the same color and now I know what it looks like with those wheels. To lower the front, I would say the bilstein sports will get you a comfortable ride height and wont ever be an issue with curbes and so on. To go lower, I suggest vogtland springs which have another half inch drop on these at least.

Uh, Check up on what shocks i was talking about before making a comment..

Bilstein sports over stock struts have a shorter shaft and are designed for lowered applications so they won't bottom out with a lowring spring. The shorter shaft then makes the car sit lower over stock struts and bilstein HD or Comfort struts because the car with the other struts is sitting on the struts not the springs.

So by installing a shorter struts it makes the car lower!
