Need help with tires and size for my 300ce sportline

Hello
i need to replace the tires on my 1993 300 ce sportline< its a beauty>

what would be the correct tires and size to buy I live in Los Angeles.
I have the original wheels of course.and i want to keep them so I just need to replace the tires.

OE sportline should be 205/60HR15

you want tires that are black and round.

OEM tire brand on MBs are Continentals but Michelins are comprable.

tires for sportline

i think i ll go with 215/65/15 on orinal rims
my car came with 205/60/15 so i think 215 should

uhhh..what? why would you ask questions and then go with something completely wrong based on your own misguided directions? Sounds like a waste of everyones time to me...

Why would you go with wider wheels AND a thicker sidewall? 215 60 has a thicker sidewall tahn 205 60 already...you are going to make your car look like a 4x4. I'd do 215 55 15 if you want wider but original looking

Mercedes benz 1991 300ce(RIP), now an 89 300ce
im happy with my general exclaims. they seem to hold the road really well. actually im riding on 215/60/r15
