Hi everyone, I have a 1993, 300E 2.8. I want to replace the door speakers. I have replaced the dash and the rear speakers. I was wondering if anyone has replaced theirs and how difficult is to replace them. If anyone has pictures of the door speakers installation, or what technique they used to replace the speakers that would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to mess up the locking mechanism and not have the door close after the installation.

removing the door panel really isn't as tough as it sounds. PM me if you want instructions. I have a PDF file that I can email to you that shows how to do it. You can get the panel off in 30 minutes, no problem.

lol...just be patient and don't try to jam the panel up or anything. You don't wanna crack anything else do you?
