Are spark plugs easy to replace?

Just wondering, I've been told not to do it myself but was wondering why?

2010 RRS ; BMW K1200R; 14 E350 ; 14 RRS on order
Very easy but potential for irrepairable damage.

DO NOT WRENCH on them if they are not going in very smoothly. if you ruin the thread you're screwed (no pun intended). I use a bit of motor oil to lube the threads ...

Also make sure your gap is correct size.

So the old ones you just pull em' out and pop in the new ones (carefully) and job done? Also I saw on TV these ones that have four I don't know what they're called but err the spark part.. instead of having just one theres four. Are those good?

Just get the oem part for your car, nothing fasncy with four prongs if you ask me. Everything is a gimmick. As long as the spark is strong enough and on time with no delay it doesn't matter. I would stay with what the manufacturer recommend.
And as for removing them, yes just remove them and replace with new. you can buy the gap adjustment tool for like $4.00 at the store.

Just remember to be careful with your wiring harness if it still has the original one!

His 91 should be okay as far as the wiring harness goes.
