Looks great joef & I'm interested in doing the same to my coupe - so, would you cut out another set of components & ship them? Obviously I'll pay...

Please let me know via pm.

Thanks

I'll cut a set on Monday and post pics of what it is. I've also been cutting rings for some of the local car stereo shops for doing customs door panels and fibreglassed boxes.

it might be easiest to just remove the rear speakers if you just need to vent into the cabin. most real audiophiles agree that rear fill is not necessary. but whats most important is what you like.

Enzo, my Benzo
Or, you could leave the first aid kit cover intact and mount the sub from underneath and drill holes in the cover ( NOT through the fabric though) to let the bass come through. Thats what my setup is like and it way more stealth than any of those ideas posted above.

What Size woofer does it accomodate? I have a 10 inch. Is it just the ring? Are there other components? I appreciate your help.

I took the grill assembly off the car - disassembled it, then paintedwith black spray maint (I think I used high temp BBQ pit paint - I dont remember exactly)

I think you can get the entire grill assembly on e-bay for under $100.00.

Doesn't that rattle? I used to have a hole cut directly in my first aid kit door (see pic). I only had 250 watts running to my sub, and it rattled pretty badly. My sub was flush-mounted to the underside of the deck (i.e. right below it), so that might be why mine rattled.

That's why I rebuilt mine out of 3/4" MDF (see the second pic). It's not going anywhere.

Here's a snap of the parts. Basically they outside ring get fastened to the existing cover, fibre-glassed and smoothed out. If anyone is interested, just pm me.

Can't blame her - the Range Rover is really nice. I was surprised to realise the new 4.2 supercharged is way more fuel efficient than the old (2003) 4.6 vogue we used to have! And that supercharged is really quick. The Range Rover is one of the best handling SUVs on the market - it's quite big but so easy to park, great in traffic, on motorways and still decent on bad roads and fields (although can't compare with the G wagen or Land Rover Defender)
