Welcome. You wouldn't happen to have a side shot of your entire car with those rims on it would you.

It is a 2.6, My bad, I dont know why I put 2.8. You are right, it was not available for '91. Thanks for the correction bud.

I like the look of the DOT spec with the clear corners, its very clean, and the sharp lines make it look very imposing.

I will look for 1, i doubt it. If not now.. i will get some better pics in the spring.

As for my car repairs.. My MB mechanic called me late last night saying he has got a W124 300 with rear damage, perfect front bumper temp sensor and i can get parts out of it. It also is TURBOed!!!! If all goes well i may just have a turbo 300ce by the end of next week!!!

Edit: Did I say he just wants $250 for parts..

Info about wheels?

You have a great looking CE. I am interested in buying some new wheels for my 1986 w124 but I can't decide what size to get. Can you post the size of your wheels including the offset and tire size? Yours look just right on the car, not too big, not too small. If anyone else has a picture of their car and would reply with wheel and tire size that would be helpful as well.

They have tons of wheels available for our cars on www.tirerack.com. The 17" Borbet LS rims he is using are available there as well.

I appreciated your reply and checked out tirerack but decided to start looking for some factory wheels. I never found any 16 or 17" wheels that but 15" are plentiful and I found a set just like the ones that are on your ce in your signature pic. I got them off a e320 in a junkyard locally. They came with good Michellins for $150 for the set. The guy has about 6 w124s on the lot so maybe I have found a parts source. I am practicing on refinishing my damaged spare right now. Has anyone ever see an info on polishing wheels and clear coating them or it the best idea just to paint and clear?
