Carpet Munching... I mean Cleaning

SO,
This summer I will commuting rediculous miles, about 150 a day , and I want to get my car ready for this. One thing I have been meaning to do is take all of my seats out and clean the spilled coffee that the previous owner left for me . Has anyone rented a steam cleaner for such an operation? I'd hate to pay a detailer to do it when I am able.

I have seen those rug doctors at the grocery store you can rent, but that won't be too practical inside my car.

Fill me in

I just did it this weekend. It is very simple. You could do the same job but putting the cleaning solution in a spray bottle. The some water in a spray bottle. Spray them both, use a scrub brush. Then use a wet/dry and suck it all up. This is if you didn't want to rent one. I took out the whole interior than brought the whole steam cleaner in the car.

Hey Matt,
So, where ever I can rent rug doctor, they will also have these upholstery attachments ?

Is it safe to use in the car? I don't want to have an electrical problem or leave a water stain and stuff. anything precautions I should take?

If this can be done at home. I could save 150$

I rented it at the grocery store. They keep the bag with the upholstery attachments behind the counter. It cost like $10 extra to rent them. I had no electrical problems and I have steam cleaned it twice now. (I'm kinda **** that way)
