Atlanta MB Repair Shops?
And lastly, I need to stack some spring (dealer calls them "shim") pads for the front of my car, which I lowered with Vogtlands and is just too low to drive. While I'm at it, I might as well fix the rear too and lower it some more as it still sits 2.5 fingers high instead of the original 4. I'm basically trying to eliminate that domesticated animal in heat (*** up) stance and get my car closer to level and raise the front so that it is more driveable and I get a bit less scraping on my front bumper cover.
I have all of the parts except for the fresh oil/filters and whatever part is making the nasty new whirring noise from the engine bay.
Any of ya'll that have any shop or mechanic experience have any idea of what that would cost me normally or even at a fellow-mbworld-member discounted price?
I need to get most of this stuff done sooner rather than later. I don't mind helping with the work especially with the spring pads or anything if it's done informally. I will gladly help. So if any shops in the Atlanta area would be willing to let me use one of their jacks and their Mercedes spring compressor for a few hours on a slow day I would gladly pay them or buy them dinner or something.
And lastly, if any Mercedes shops in the Atlanta area need some help for the summer employee-wise I am looking for a job involving MB cars. I'm free M-W-F (summer class Tues and Thurs) so if somebody needs part-time help doing anything I would be more than interested.
Anybody that read my entire spiel: I appreciate it.

Where did you have the install done? Why not just take it back there? Most of the shop owners I know charge more than you're looking to spend, and I ALWAYS use them to order parts...that's how they make some profit over just labor costs.....I'm certain you know this already.
I'm really sorry to tell you, but you will not find a reputable shop willing to stack spring pads in the manner you describe. It's unsafe and no shop I would recommend to you or anyone else would want to take on the risk of sending a car out the door in that condition.
Best of luck to you in your search.
