Feeler: Atlanta area Mercedes/Euro meet

I, along with Rooney have been trying to set up a mercedes/euro car meet sometime this fall or late summer. If ANYONE is interested post here with your general location in the area so we can decide on a location. I am in Gwinnett Co just off 316. Let's make this happen...SOON

I am interested. We had a bimmerfourums meet at Stone Mt earlier this year and it was a great location or the old home depot parking lot in Buckhead. I like the Stone Mt location best because we can grill in the parking lot. I think Chappy has a god list of people as he coordinated the AMG meet last year. If it is a euro meet I can probably get quite a few guys from the BMW world to come. Just let me know if you need some help planning

Agreed, Stone Mountain sounds perfect. Now for the sign up list and date confirmation. I am open pretty much anytime as long as I have a weeks notice. Any requests for dates?

1. G-Funk
2. Rooney depending on date
3. LEE (maybe)

I will get in touch with the person who coordinated the last bf.c meet there and see what has to be done. Just let me know what is decided. I work in Tx and live in ATL and don't come home allot of weekends during the summer going on vacations.

Is this the date? I've got two weekends already booked in July (7-8, 14-15). Is this meet still a "go"? What time are we meeting?

I'm tentatively in as well. Stone Mtn sounds like the best plan so far. Let me know when there are more details.

This is from my friend who planned the last BMW meet. Someone else will have to take the lead as I am only in ATL on Sat and Sun. We just need a parking lot. We grilled right in the parking lot.

"They just need to contact the sales department and tell them what they want to do. Certain areas of the park are free to use but you have to arrange something with them. Here's the number 800-401-2405. "

I was there several weeks ago. You have to pay ($8) to get into the park, but can use (most of) the picnic areas for free.

They fill up very early (10:30 or 11:00am)....just FYI.
