Well I was dring around one day and had the window down just a little. Later that day I decided to put it up and the window would not respond. So then I pressed the down button to see if it was just me and the window did go down, So I came to seeing my window goes down and not up. To you know it alls what do I need to replace? it's probably a regulator/motor issue. it almost always is in anything related to the window as there aren't too many moving parts. literally the regulator/motor and the button. and that's about it.

i would guess it's the switch. If the window is rolling down, it means the regulator is at least somewhat working. Plus the switch is easier and cheaper to swap out. You might even be able to take one of your other switches and replace the bad one with it just to test it out.

my rr window doesnt go up either from the main window controls. it will from its own switch and with the key held closed in the door though.

just needs the switch removed, cleaned and reinstalled.

actually that's the case with me in my coupe as well. Rear driver's side won't go down w/the console switch but will go up. Rear switch works perfectly up and down. So it's def. the switch for me.

it is most likely the switch. Take off the center console wood by unscrewing it at the bottom and just lifting up. You can take off the switch simply by lifting up on the switch. Trust me, it just pulls out. Do the same for one switch that works and replace the working switch into the slot where the malfunctioning one was. then move the switch up and down. if it works, then just buy a new switch and you can find them on ebay or pretty much anywhere. They can also be taken apart and cleaned out, but there are many small pieces inside and I believe it is easier to just buy a new switch.

Thanks alot guys, and it was the switch, have anybody here had trouble moving their key in the key hole of the drivers door? When I insert my key I can't turn it like I have the wrong key. is that a common problem, is there an easy fix to that? Thanx in advance

your lock tumbler is probably going bad. You have to go to the dealer to get one, and you have to remove your inner door panel to get at it. Quite a biotch.

Yes, I had that same problem. I bought a new key at the dealership for about $30 and it works fine.

that would most definitely be the best thing to do first.

Although if your key is the source of the problem, I would think it wouldn't work well in any of the locks. Is this isolated to only the driver's door?

Reviving this thread.....

On the way home from work last night, the rear drivers side window went down and would not go up. Switch on the console wouldnt roll it up. Switch on the door would not roll it up. Holding down the lock button on the remote rolled it up. ??? I'm scared to roll it down again in fear it wont go back up. Thoughts?
