The planets must be in alignment....my airfare to JAX from ATL was only $69! I don't think I could drive there and back for that.

A few stats on the new wagon:

1995 model
106K miles
2 owner
Books & Records
Black w Light Beige MB Tex
No accidents, no paintwork
No 4-matic, No ASR

The chrome 8-holers will be replaced with something else...not exactly sure just yet.

Interesting...the wagons used the old style (<1989) interior? I would have thought they would change in 94-95 to the horizontal pattern seats..

More exterior shots please!!

This one has MBtex, not leather. Since this will become my daily driver - replacing my 300CE - I looked for wagon with MBtex since it wears very well and is a snap to clean and maintain. Since this will be "dad's" car, cleaning up infant slobber will be much easier than having to care for leather.

I'll be in possession of the car Saturday evening, then drive home that night. I'll get lots of pics as the car transforms over the coming weeks.

These shots are all the rest I have for now....

I'm looking forward to seeing Kwontumspeed's Sportline wagon at the Stone Mountain meet in a couple weeks. Sportline suspension and Evo wheels in titanium finish on an Anthracite/Saffron TE.

Modding ideas are be developed at the moment.....

Debadge
35% Tint all around
Red/Smoke/Red Tail lights
Different wheels (undecided at this time) ---- 17" max.
Full Sportline Suspension
Upgraded sound - XM/MBQuart

......way down the road.....C36 engine/tranny transplant.

I like those too.....

BTW, Mark - I emailed mbenznl about the Red/Smoke/Red tails and he said he doesn't have anything for W124 wagons. What I'm looking for is the MHW Designs 023067, but can't tell if it is out of production.

I'm trying to locate these IN STOCK somewhere in the world - AND willing to ship to the U.S.

Any ideas?

find a friend with a steady hand that can spray your stockers. It is really really easy, looks good, and is cheap.

lol....I may end up having to....but there are very subtle differences. Perhaps I'm drawn to them simply due to the fact that they're difficult to obtain and $$$$.

Anyone up for a Group Buy?

Tempting... Althought I did just drop $500 on new brakes and bearings, and $140 on a new optima battery...

I might consider it, but I do need a new Cannon Rebel XTi with some nice lenses first.

Gericia responded and advised the smoked tails are no longer available.

Is my obsession that obvious? lol...

You won't believe how long it took me to track down the genuine manufaktur shift knob for my CLK55. I was told it couldn't be obtained in the U.S.

I guess I'm like McFly being called "chicken" lol....
