Wagon Chat - Advice/Pics/Kick the Can/Whatever...
Got the LCAs done, now need to decide on some rubber.
Michelin PS2
Michelin PE2 (pilot exalto)
Any other suggestions? I need 225/45-17 front and 245/40-17 rear.
As mbenzman pointed out, I have already exhausted 50% of the tread at the Louisiana AMG Track Day last month. I'm glad I didn't spend the dough on PS2s and torture them...the ride home was a little less smooth, it part due to the excessive tire wear, but also due to shredding a lower control arm bushing on the track.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

maybe bridgestone potenza 960's
I want something all season, not winter, that is quiet and somewhat sporty.
I may also look at toyos.. I have had good luck with them

My mom has yoko 420's and my bro has yoko 520's and they seem to be fine...

I would seriously consider michelins if the treadlife is good. My Toyos on my 280 are at 50% with tons of miles on them... I like that.
There were some Bridgestones on Tire rack that also got some 9.0+ review from a 500E owner. I need really good wet traction being in the NW.

You also have door pods in your kombi. I used 6.5" speakers in my 400E IIRC but had to mod the speaker-pod with a dremmel to make them fit the metric opening.
I have Yokohama ES100's right now and I'll tell you one thing those definitely do NOT hold up in the rain. I'm due for a tire change soon - I'm thinking about biting the bullet, saving a little bit more and getting Michelin PS2's

I am not familiar with the Rainbow brand. Anything beats the papercone factory loudspeakers. I would check to make sure they are running the same ohms.
Looks like I'll be getting T1R's next.
