Zorro,

Looks good man. Looks good. Waiting for more pictures though. Do take some out in the sun too, so we know what it looks like in the daylight.

I was going to point out the clear corner issue, but it has been addressed and will wait until you get your new lights.

Maybe its just me, but I think if the eyelids were a little bigger, like if they covered a little more of the lamp, it would look a lot stealthier !! Photo shop time.

If it would stop raining here...

I'll take new pics soon. As for more coverage, then you'd lose the W124 look IMO...subtle is better with these...I just wanted to slightly reduce the headlight real estate at the front.

Damn you mark! I was just parked outside my bank yesterday and there was a bar across the sidewalk, so the window reflection made headlights look like they had eyelids, so I thought it would be my next mod.

You beat me to it! It looks great. All your spending is going to be the end of me, I have to try and keep up.

Here are the pics I took today...my Sony digital cam sucks but I got some half decent shots finally....

Enjoy

Next up, custom 3 or 4 slat starless grille and projector headlights to match the crystal clear corners....

Very nice...subtle yet aggressive.

IMHO grille change should enhance the front, make it look less blunt.
Horizontal slats will make the front look wider and lower.
What finish are you going to use on the slats?

I actually prefer the Euro headlights you're currently running !
They look like they belong !

I agree totally with RBYCC. The eyelids look good, and the grille mod you're planning sounds like it will be a great step. I also much prefer the look of standard euros to the projectors... I know projectors will give you better light, but I don't think they will look as good...

Thanks for all the comments and compliments guys!

At 300$ for the projectors, it's not a huge investment and when I install one, if it looks bad, you all know me..it isn't staying!

The grille will be a lot like the Brabus Rocket grille and will be either metal or plastic....either way it will be painted body color of course!

Shadow...I would definitely consider selling you the grille...I'll let you know...it'll probably be suuuuper expensive since it's custom!! (jk, a grand should cover it )

Actually the issue was the charger cable...it wasn't seating properly and keeping the charge going...it works fine now. You LIKE the pics?? I find they are super grainy and amateur...oh well, thanks for the compliments!

Glad the mod was a success!

Hey Mark, when you originally posted this, did you have your signature updated after the mod? Took a preview into the photo album, and the eyelids look really good in the new photos. BTW, the virtual chop shop with the deep dish and flares...
