newbie to amg e50,answer questions before buy (pics)
car is really dirty

this is the on defect of the car the center is all ripped up, but easy fix
If you like the look of it and the car is in good mechanical condition theres no reason not to get it. Getting the VIN would provide you the origin of the car. At the base of the windshield on the drivers side there is a clear spot in the blueing where the VIN will be visible. Its also printed in the drivers door jam, behind the trunk license plate, and in several other places on the bodywork year depending.
To your earlier question. Sportline was an option on all Mercedes W124s in Europe and on a limited selection of W124s in North America. Tighter ratio steering boxes, firmer suspension, smaller steering wheels, and bucket seats among other changes. From your interior photos I'd guess one of the previous owners was afflicted with sticker rage and thought it would be cool to add those quarter panel badges. Its not actually a Sportline.

If it's mechanically sound and has service/maintenance records that you can review, I would probably go around $6K.
Lot of nice parts on it, which are worth a few thousand if off the car !!!
Before you do anything post the VIN number as Eliot suggested.
Finding out what it really is can then determine a fair price !
