99 E320 wheels on W124, fit? pics?

I have a 94 E32O wagon w/ H&R springs and I've been looking around for an inexpensive set of 16" wheels to get some more rubber on the road.

I have found a guy with a set of std 99 E320 16X7,5 wheels w/ 41mm offset and 215/55-16's tires mounted.

I do not see these wheels pictured in the "W124 wheel list" http://www.gdtm.net/TiresAWCS124.htm
so I was wondering if anyone knows if they will fit.

I do see other wheels in that size and offset listed....but just wanted to see if there is any experience and especially with the 215/55-16's on there. That's quite a big jump in section width from the oem 195's.

Oh anyone seen photos of these on a w124. Hope they won't be too ugly! Invisible is okay...but....

Thanks,
Steve

i think they will fit...
if they look like this though, i would pass, they're so ugly:

i'm pretty sure W140 wheels fit out cars, i would much rather get a set of those if you were looking for 16's...

Yep those are the wheels. They really are ugly arent they. =)

I'm guess with my low budget and a desire to remove some sidewall flex and gain a bit of section width...the looks seem to come last in my list.

I def want to keep a very OEM look. I really like your wheels STLe320, but have not found any of those wit tires in my price range( $350 or less).

My 195/65-15's still have plenty of tread.....maybe I will keep looking. And I will try the W140 wheels as well.
Thanks!
Steve

Go for 17s. Plenty of sidewall but still look cool.

The wheels I was thinking about look like the ones ZedStyle pasted in his comment. Oh, now I'm in trouble...those on craigslist GA don't look bad...but more than I budgeted.

They are fairley close. Hmmm

Oh, now I'm in trouble. Finding these makes me really want to get some 17's.

Darn I wish I had the weekend free....I would be on the road to NJ right now!!

They don't look ugly on my 1987 300D!

I have a set from a 2001 E320 and they fit perfectly and look much better than the old flat style wheels.

Here is a pic of mine before the 215/55/16's went on:

I have the same rims STLe320 has. Paid ~$200 for the rims. They were off a 99 E430 I believe. No fitment problems at all. Tire size 205/55/16.
