A sad day
Looks like im going to be saying goodbye to my old girl soon, my Parents are splitin up and my mum needs to payout my dad $110,000 So Im selling my car ill probably get about $8,000 for her and thats going towards my dads pay off as i will be living with my mum.
My Granddad is giving me one of his old W126's, he has three, 420SEL,300SEL and a 280SE guess which one im getting? Yeah the 280SE
Its a nice car kept in really good condition always serviced at Mercedes-Benz Dealerships, Dark blue over grey, 85,000k's on the clock, 85 model the only thing i dislike is the interior its the Blue Leather! ahhhh
I wont be getting it until April Next year so when i sell my W124 im going to be carless, bummer
Im going to miss the old Girl, i was planning to do so much to her now im not going to get the chance
Any of you W124 owners driven or owned a W126? ive never Driven one before, is there much difference between them and the W124's?

Maybe you could talk to your dad and ask if he could reduce the amount by $8,000 so you could keep your car. That would be the decent thing for him to do. The W124 is a much better car than the W126 from what I've seen. And wow, the man gets money from a divorce instead of the woman?! I need to move to Melbourne!

So my dad kinda got a punch to the back of the head
I was just thinking though if i get the w126 it would still be worth about $8,000-$10,000 maybe i could sell it buy another w124 and have some money left for new rims
Thing is my Granddad is giving me the car and thinking that its going to stay in the family, i could always just tell him it got ridden off, as he lives over 500k's away, what granddad doesn't know cant hurt him haha
Cause i dont think im going to be able to cope with that blue interior

and this is why its more incumbent for poor working class males to have a pre nuptial agreement before getting married than rich folk. you get reamed in divorce court. period.
