For two weeks i had a job where i had to drive from long beach to santa barbara wich is like a 200 mile trip every day! Nothing went wrong with my car but i did all this before taking the job...
1. Check tires & tire pressure
2. Have a full size spare & check pressure
3. Small tune up change oil, air filter, and spark plugs
4. Check or replace the anti-freeze
5. Check the belt for any cracks
6. Check power steering and brake fluid
7. Take extra fuses and light bulbs
8. Take out all the crap you don't need from trunk
9. Take anything extra that you may need incase of an emergency.
Basically these cars are tanks but just prepare for the worst and hope for the best!
I would just double check the car everytime i stop at a gas station. Ohhh and always listen to your car...
I'm just worried about major things like a bearing breaking with exessive driving at 80+ mph for a few hours at a time.

I plan on driving at night, and stopping every so often, Should i let my car cool down for liek an hour, or woudl that eb worse than just driving it with otu stopping.
Where are you going? I wouldn't like to drive at night in open roads because there are a lot of animals that can cross it out of nowhere. I dunno...take a gps if u have one or a cell phone with one...
Also if i take my car to a dealership or to the shop i always goto how well do you think they could predict if the car woudl make it or not
