ha did you edit that pic to make the hoodstar gleam like that? Or is that an actual reflection?

Zed, that is some amazing work!

I was going to get the ebay projectors 2 days before I saw your thread, but now I'm tempted to try this my self. I sourced out a set of tsx projectors at my local dealer.

Do you know if anyone sells just the clear glass plate for the headlights???

Lookin good Zed - those are some of the best ebay projector headlights I've seen yet. How's the important part (light output)?

10-4. I might be signing with Kiewit this summer, and so I could actually work on some projects up there

Zed, those new photos are stunning. Best headlight mod yet!!!

thanks... they're technically not 'ebay projector' lights, since i made them myself light output is good, but like i mentioned before, i had HID's in the OEM housing, so they feel the same as before, kind of, just with the satisfaction that oncoming drivers are not completely blinded by me! it was an utter b!tch trying to get the cutoff to be level, so when the light is against a wall from a distance, you can see that the line is not completely horizontal on each light, they're both a little wonky. it doesn't make for cool cutoff pics, but the cutoffs still do the job they're supposed to and keep light to the road and not all over the place.
they still retain some OEM light characteristics shape-wise, and if you notice, i didn't seal the two halves of the projectors. this allows some light to escape, which kind of gives a ring of light in the reflector housing, if you look at the last set of pics you'll see what i mean. sort of angel eyes without looking too cheesy, maybe...!
zorro, the only thing i would like you to fix is the damage to my front bumper, other than that i would like to keep it as-is in any pics you do... and i have higher res pics if you want! you should do a virtual photoshoot of both our cars in one pic, that would look hot!

That is the first set of non-oem lights i have seen on a w124 that do not look cheesy

Please post up a DIY and links to where you bought the parts, i might want to do this on my coupe
