I check mine everytime i fill it.

Depending on how hard I drive, I usually get between 16-19 MPG

Not great but it could be worse...

It makes a difference.

I was broke as hell starting a new job in Nov. and I was putting in $5 every day just to go to work and back. (about 15 miles)

Now I put in about $30 a week to top off from half tank and I drive a lot more than just to and from work.

It sounds illogical but Im sure theres a reason for it.

$5 a day for a 6 day workweek = $30 for about 90 miles.

now i do $30 a week and get about 140-150 miles.

Anyone have any suggestions as to why?

I drive until the light comes on, usually at between 325 and 350 miles. I check my mileage every time I fill up, which is about every 4 work days. This morning I computed 22mpg for my last tank. I usually am anywhere from 21 to 24. My fill up is usually between 16 and 16.5 gallons and right now that's $48 to $50.

berti, the way to get the most accurate MPG is to fill a full tank of gas, and reset your trip meter before you even start the car. drive til the tank is running low, and then fill up the tank completely again. then you divide the mileage on your trip meter by the gallons of fuel you just filled up displaying on the pump.
if you do it like this, even if you fill it up full from half tank, you'll be able to see how many MPG's you're getting.
1/4 on the dash is not really 1/4 of the tank, so you will never get a true reading if you try to calculate it like that...

Before I got my exhaust on I would normally get 210 miles to 260 miles (depending on how i drove) on 11 or 12 gallons of gas. I fill at 1/4 as well just to be safe. So since I got my exhaust I'm looking at 210 miles max. Somehow I went from 21-23 mpg to 18-20. I've heard that high flow exhaust will make your car run rich so my question is this: can I compensate for my bad mpg by adjusting that little screw on the throttle body? (leaner of course) What are the signs your car is getting more fuel than it needs?

I Let Mine Hit the Reserve Line Before I Fill it

My 260E Gets About 450-500k's Around the City, And Highway Driving i Can Push her and get 750-800, I could Probably Push her a little more But Id rather not be left stuck on the side of the Road with no Petrol.

Though Ive noticed When i used my Cruise Control on the Highway she Uses HEAPS more Petrol, i might get 400 if that with highway driving.

I fill up at the 1/2 mark. Just me.
I get 300km when I'm at that mark, i.e. 185miles. The first bit from full tank gets me 93 miles.
I baby my 124 and I have a tiny little 2.2 engine.

I will get just over 24 mpg (24.4-24.6) on the highway and usually just over 20 if mixed city/hwy. I got about the same milage in the convertable as well.

I had been strickly a 93 octane user, but I talked to my mechanic and he said I could try the 89 and just make sure it doesn't ping. I am on my second tank of 89 and the milage is the same and no-pinging.
