Manual transmission (I promise this is the last time)
Is there any other parts that I would need? I don't want to get half way and then realise I'm missing a part or two. Is there anything that is missing?
My mechanic is doing the swap for me. He said I might need a pump/master cylinder for the clutch, and the propeller shaft. He's not familiar with these swaps in Mercs so I'm hoping he's wrong.
Anyway, please help!!
Cheers,
Jeff
I got the parts from a guy who did a conversion himself but he's going back to AT cux he's giving the car to his wife. He swears that everything is there.
Cheers,
Jeff

Also the drive shaft might be a different length. I know when i did this swap on my w108 I had to swap shafts and rear differential to get better mpg on the highway.

I guess I'll be better off getting a proper shaft then!
I won't look into diffs just yet as these are readily available locally.
But I probably won't go with this deal. The guy wants something like USD 1800 for the kit with a worn clutch and no gaiter & knob. I'd most probably gather the parts one by one, now that I have the pic to show the parts that I must have etc.
Jmoney, yes. Cars are RHD in my country. The CLS was my daily commuter and the W124 is a project car. The CLS is now gone and replaced by another MB. (CLS sucked, by the way
