Modding Enzo, AGAIN...

In an effort to further my Darth Vader theme with Enzo, I thought about a new wheel option.

Since it most people think Enzo should keep the Carlsson 2/6's, I thought about body color Lips or just all body color. NO body color face with polished lip suggestions, please...it's uber played out and not aggressive enough IMO. I like the black lip cause it keeps the AMAZING "brilliant Edition" finish of the Carlsson's intact but still gives a rad appearance. It also finally eliminates all chrome on my car other than the exhaust tips..

All black or sorry... black face with polished lips. I think that would be particularly effective on your car.

Polished lip on my wheels is not really an option. Way too much trouble/money if it even is possible. Played out indeed tho.

lots of cars
I just got some wheels powdercoated black. Also another new mod is custom made steal side skirts. I got access to a shop where i can do metal work so i'm going to do a lot of different and new mods. I may sell my black clear coated tails.

I'm also planing on a new grill made out of fiberglass but that's when i have more time.

Blackalicious lips all the way. That’s way too original not to do it.

Go retro!!!

I think the black lips might be original, but it isn’t an improvement and the all black looks like your car needs a good cleaning. Yuk coolest dude, that be fugly! Doesn’t it start to become change just for change’s sake, not to get a nicer looking car? I think you must have some kind of disease, mod fever.

I think the wheels are one of the nicest features on your car, so don’t ruin it. I’m not even sure that removing the very tasteful little OEM touches of stainless steel was necessarily a great improvement. How about those visors or rain protector things on your windows. They fit or blend into your car o.k., compared to most, but I don’t think that was really an improvement either. Maybe enough is enough. Just fix the antennae mast so it goes all the way down and then be done with it.

Now I wouldn’t complain about a nice black leather interior mod , and honestly, I think your car would look best with all of the original stainless accents, including the OEM grille assembly with the stock grille insert simply painted black or body color with the chrome strips intact, door handles, bumper accents, and the pieces that run on the top of the lower plastic panels. Go retro!!! Plus then your car would look as nice as mine. Of course you should keep the cool lights, eyelids, little round fog lights, ducktail, and chrome exhaust. I would also go for the newer trunk lid with the stainless insert over the license plate. I love the newer trunk lid.

I would leave it the way it is also. Or you could go Hot pink highlights on the bottom of fenders "that's hot"

Ha, ha, sounds like you've made up your mind, already.

Looking at your chop with only the lips black, I think it you would be better off leaving them alone.

The brilliant centre faces without polished lips are far too prominent - on 3/4 view chop, they look to me like they bulge out of the car.

From diect profile view, the way the wheels are now, the contrast with the stealth body colour is really dramatic and enhances it.

I think "all-black", you would lose the "wow-factor", but more "evil, lurking" presence!

1st choice - leave them - Dramatic, I think you're just restless for change!
2nd - all black - stealthy-cool, but may get lost in the crowd.
3rd - black lips only - not for your wheels, counter-effective.

Sorry, you asked for opinions - these are mine. You have a tasteful unique car with a lot of personal flare as it is - I'd leave it. Good luck, hope we've all helped.

BTW, are you saying Neanderthal is'behind the times'?

Neanderthal quote,
"polished lip may be played out, btu it certainly looks better."

Why not black the inside of the wheel and leave a polished silver lip?

Ugh to those that CAN'T read lol. NO I am not doing polished lip with black face.....Zsa Zsa Gabor is probably rolling like that by now.

I have to re-finish the curb rash on 3 or 4 wheels anyway (don't ask lol) so I may just do 'em black. If it doesn't look good, I'll have 'em re polished anyway.

Thanks for the input so far from most of you!
