There is no manual adjustment.
If the tapping is truly a valve train noise then either a stuck, dirty or collapsed lifter.
You can use a product such as Marvel Mystery Oil or anything that will unstick and clean lifters.

i bought some of that valve cleaning crap from advance and it didnt do anything it sounds pretty serious i didnt think i was gonna get off the hook that easy how much is it for a mb dealership to do that job

Try using synthetic oil like Mobil 1 0w-40. It may quiet down the lifters over time, not to mention preserving the engine. And you can change the oil half as much as you currently do.

I just went full boat on my white Sportline. It cost too much, but so do new cars. I did not need to go this far...and I am sure this can all be done cheaper but here's what I was charged:
Remove and install cylinder head, replace gasket $1142
Complete disassemble and clean cylinder head. Reseat valves, Replace valve guide seals. Resurface cylinder head, pressure test $462
Perform complete timing chain service: replace timing and oil pump chains. Replace all tensioners and sliding rails, Replace front crankshaft seal. R&I oil pan, raise engine. $839

No, you shouldn't have to pull the head. Just take off the valve cover and replace the bad lifter. Then again, no offense but you don't sound too confident so I would take it to a mechanic you trust.
