i now drive a ford p71 i also own a 1988 ford f150 lariat
next Q ????
i am really am thinking of selling the 124 for what it is worth cerent blue book has me at 3k 
but i would not feel right selling it to some one for that i want 2k or as close as i can get to it the cerent things i have done to the car is rebuilt alternator. new tires light bulbs spark plugs belts battery window seals some body work out of the car port new lugnuts detailing job leather cleaner restocked the 1st aid kit new speekers i have a HID kit for the car did not put that in yet. new buttens all around i have spent 300 bucks al together on this car with as manny hookups as i could get from friends family and from things im not happy about such as street racing 
what do you all think i could get with the cerent things i have done and with how well it is running EX for leaking tranny and not pass smog thing

also i just found out my cars miles is wrong im siting at 230.000 not 280k
dad told me that is odomiter broke for 20k miles and not the 66k miles he told me the 1st time.

$1500-$2000 if the leak is not severe and it runs well. Where does it leak from exactly? If you do a really good cleaning and detail it will help.

Actually, I was looking at the pics on your website...did you seriously paint the console red and black? It's hard to tell through all the debris, but the interior looks kind of rough and the dash is very cracked. You're right- the paint is shot, too. I'd say about a grand would be a good bottom line.

Yeah I remember a year ago a guy was selling a 91 300E down the street from me for $500 because it couldn't pass emissions....it was in pretty good shape too.

I would have bought that in a heartbeat! No one cares about emissions here. There's not even a shop where you can have it tested.

hu well it is 1:42 AM monday so i make calls around when i get up from bed
1st i will see if i cant get the fix it thing for my smog if not i will call and see how much i could get for my car by junking it and last is i will be selling it for parts to a mb only shop and see how much i could get

well i will give it one last try
i cant get much if i sell my car i got no cash for my car when i tryed to junk it with the government (a$$ holes) i do not qualify for the free 500 bucks to fix my car becuz i dont have 40 unwashed kids hanging off me and in the fact that i dont have any one depending on my paychecks (a$$ holes again)
hell why not spend the cash to see what the problem is it could just be a cheap part or fix on the car you never know with this car
yes i have a love hate relashionship with my car. i have spent 3 days thinking and if i have some one who knows this car better then me look at it there is less of a chance of me messing things up more right. i know of a place that only works with old mb's and bmw's a few new ones but not alot they have been around for 45 years i will go there tomarow and see what cash deal i can set up for a looky loo on why i might not pass smog
i hope i get good news but bad news can be helpfull to some times
