Just sold my sportline suspension

I just sold my sportline suspension and all of the components back to who I originally bought them from. He bought it all back for 400$ and swapped them out for free. So now I have some extra cash laying around and want to get lowering springs finally.

I've been looking into H&R's...but I really want it low. I'm trying to stick to the cheaper route so I can also get shocks down the line. Any suggestions besides H&R's?

It might be worth it to wait a while and do both at the same time. Even though I know your dying to get it dropped. I was looking for the same info on what to mate with a spring kit.

Bilstein B12 Kit

Just to clarify:

Bilstein B12 kit consists of 4 springs and 4 Bilstein B8 dampers.

Brilliant.

I'll be explaining more soon as it's only a few days since it was fitted.

definitely do both at the same time. You will blow through your shocks pretty quickly otherwise. Plus you'll need to do two alignments and the overall labor will be much higher (unless you can do the work yourself).

I installed the springs first and the shocks later. It ended up being a big waste of money.

I'm planning on doing the work myself along with my mechanic to help me out. He's letting me use his lift and spring compressor so that should help out. I think I'm going to buy the springs first, then a week or so later get the shocks when I have the extra money.

I hope it will be as low as Enzo...after I take the pads out and whatnot.

Everyone was saying the back end will be higher but I'm not too sure in my situation because of the 300 extra pounds of subs in the trunk

Enzo has cost all of us alot of money. Sort of sets the bar pretty high...or low depending on how you look at it. Between Enzo and Phamo, those two really make you look at your car differently.

I am interested in trade off discussion once you get the new lowered suspension in...is it just about all good to keep going lower? And an associated question...is it just better and better to go w / larger wheels? Does anyone here ride on 16/17 because 18s stiffen up too much on bumps?
