2PHAST: how do those spring travel limiting washers work?
do they also stiffen the ride?
and those fender spacers, don't they create a gap between fender and bumper, or at the front, where the turn signals are? don't they screw up the lines of the car?

I know, lots of q's, but I'm puzzled!

500E Signal Rot
I have not installed either. The spring limiters limit the amount of rebound, so I suspect they probably stiffen up the ride as well.

I have seen cars with the spacers installed and I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, you couldn't tell they were installed, but I have not installed these personally.

Properly done, the wider wheel package will work without any rubbing. I am of the mind set of doing it correctly when it comes to upgrades. Wider than normal wheels, stretched tires, excessive lowering, are not my idea of "doing it right". Of course, I am guilty of doing all of the things I preach against, someone has to do it and discover the limitations/problems that arrise and pass the information on, allowing others to learn.

No fender spacers do not make a gap or ruin the lines, they push your fenders out from the rear of the fenders not the front to accommodate for larger rims and tires, stock on AMG models.
I have sets for sell, do not contact me if you're going to be rude or just waste my time with endless emails. I'm always happy to help forum members out but I'm getting fed up with dis-respectful people or just cheap *******s that can't decide if they want to spend $25 for their Mercedes. What ever happened to hello , hi, how are you what did I sleep with you last night or what !! Whatever happened to good old fashioned manners? Sorry to ***** but getting tired of constant rude PM's.

i bought spacers from cali almost 2 years ago, they were easy to install, and you can't really tell they're there at all.

mmmmm Zed that's perfect....I love how Zed always owns threads with just a picture.

btw this "Real man" and "Rubber" stuff is turning the thread into a Trojan commercial.

Maybe real men dont drive Nissans.....then again I doubt it.

Silvia? 280zx? 240sx? Come now, lets not get crazy :P Every manufacturer has good cars. Real men drive what they please, without worrying about what other "real men" will think.

THank you ANDRE, i apriciate all your help and advice

i just have a tiny gap in the front, but not much and i am going to take my PADS off all around and next time i will run 225/40/18s ONLY in front rear will remain the same most likely
