Power door locks

Saijin,
I assume just assume you just do not know much about cars. The 'lock nub' you refer to just activates the power door locks. I wanted to know the location of the actuator that controls the central locking system. If you were trying to make a joke do not quit your day job.

Whoa lighten up there cml55!!!! Saijin isn't a bad guy believe me, as for your question, it helped that you cleared up exactly what your looking for eliminating any broad answers like Saijins. I believe the component your looking for is the convenience control module, located under the rear bench on the passenger side. It will be enclosed in a foam with vacuum tubes/wires leading out of it, you'll see it.

The convenience control module doesn't control the locks, it controls the one touch windows and the closing of the windows and sunroof via the key in the door lock. The vacuum pump is incased in foam under the rear seat under the carpet on the passenger side. The convenience control module is on the driver side.
