Shocks and Struts, Bilstein Sports for CE?

Hey guys,

Im lookin to purchase my shocks, finally. Im going to get the Bilstein sport shocks and was wondering if i would have to replace my struts also.

I will be purchasing them from thepartsbin.com and was also wondering where everybody else got theirs.

Does Bilstein make Sports for the CE?

Would it be absolutely necessary to get the strut mounts? Would it affect the performance of my driving or wear the shocks?

Do they sell Bilstein sport shocks for 300ce's? I cant manage to find any...

best prices I found are at link above and I would buy a set of 4, regardless if you call them struts or shocks. eshocks has a pretty good price too, but not as good as the link above. If you don't see the sport shocks listed, just call Rusty and he will help you get what you need.

I use buymbparts, but also noted the prices at eshocks.com look very competitive.

Excuse my confusion but you have struts on the front and shocks on the back.
The mounts for the front are very inexpensive and best to change with the new dampers...

Try www.eshock.com as they are usually very competitive and will match or better any legitimate price you bring to them.

If you're not changing your springs out to a lowering style, then don't buy the short travel Bilstein Sports.

I believe the part number for the CE and the E are the same. But if you are unsure, just call a bilstein distributor or call bilstein directly.

Ok, the BuyMBParts site is throwing me off. The BSports have a note under them saying "incappable to vehicles with Sport suspension"

So just to make sure I purchase the correct parts, can you guys verify that these parts are correct?

http://www.buymbparts.com/item.wws?c...tid=buymbparts

http://buymbparts.com/item.wws?sku=L...tid=buymbparts

2 of each coming out to $445.something. LMK
