New 300CE owner
Greeting All from the Aloha State,
Just became the proud owner of a 1992 300CE, Artic White with gray interior and 136K on the clock. I''m been fixing, driving and enjoying BMW''s for many years and this is my first foray into the MB world. I purchased the car from a long time friend who happens to be a MB Master Mechanic. I''ve been lusting after the car for a long time and I finally prevailed. The car is in excellent condition having been in my friends hands for the last few years. I am very pleased with the way this car is put together and drives, and I love the lines of the W124 coupe. Those Germans really know how to build a car. I don''t have any immediate plans for the car except some e-code headlights. I''m enjoying the MB driving experience and the difference from a BMW. Great to be on board.
Aloha,
Mike

I plan on doing some mods. I've been tweaking my BMW E34's for years and am looking forward to working on the CE. First thing is some euro headlights and clear corners. The US spec headlights leave much to be desired. Any good sources for the euros?

Don't let Zorro talk you into painting your lower cladding polar white !!!
Try www.katmac.com
Either Tyc or Depo, Asian made, glass, great quality and much lower cost then OEM Bosch.
They also have the blank plates to replace the wiper plates.
You'll have to remove the wiper assembly as they do not work with the Euros without a great deal of modification.

Same here .. purchased my Arctic White '92 300 CE one month ago, 150K kilometres (I am in Canada), the car was one previous own er, always garaged, it is immaculate. It has a custom AMG Gen II front end. Love the look, love the ride.
Just developed a small problem yesterday, no spark .. mechanic and I trying to track down what the issue is. Had a new ignition coil installed just before I bought it.

I have to say, paint the lower 1/2, the previous owner did it to mine, and i'm glad he did. and some rims's would look awsome. Congrats on the purchase. Here's my 89' in white to compare...

Thanks for the suggestion and pic. Your car does look great, I like the headlights, clear corners and wheels. I'm partial to the two tone at this point, but hey I just bought the car. First thing is some e-code lights and wheels but I'm not in a hurry. I'm getting ready to do a 5 speed swap on my BMW E34 Touring and trying to finish my BMW E30 project. I'm just enjoying the whole W124 experience. So many cars and so little time.

Another New 300CE Owner - NY State
Hello from the Hudson Valley in upstate NY. Just purchsed my first MB, a 92 300CE that spent its entire life in LA. It's got 135K, is very solid, and absolutely not one bit of rust anywhere.
Drove it to work today for the first time, man have I been missing out all these years, awesome ride as all you already know.
Also interested in the euro headlights, and I need some info on reparing the electric seats, back seat headrests, and the seatbelt extenders. Everything else works and the car drives like new.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
My 300CE is Black Peale w/ grey like new interior.
