Anyone running 17x9 wheels on their W124?

As per title really just wondered if anyone was or has pic's?
Obviously rear wheels as i know 8.5's are as wide as you can go out front.

My car had some on it when I got it. But I bought new wheels and tires. Went to 17x7 for better fit.

^Do you have any pic's from then?
I've got 18x8.5's all round at the moment, found some new 17x8inch 3piece wheels and thought about making up them to 9's with new rim outers just wondered is anyone has 17x9's.

Its not safe using a super stretched tire and expect major rubbing problems. Also expect to roll your fender lips and to do some poudning on the inner wells for clearance (full lock turns).

Hope you don't mind burning through tires every 3-5k miles, as you would also need to run serious negative camber.

A few items Berti neglected to mention about running such wide wheels.

lots of cars
We had a long thread about the camber issues and rear wheels. I tried to solve it with wider tires and higher offsets but it's not working out that good. I'm about to replace my rear tires again second pair this year. I'm trying to find a off-road shop that can custom make me some suspension links to adjust the camber and the toe.

I know you're fammiliar with the K-Mac kit, Wouldn't that solve all the tire wearing problems of a lowered 300E? I'm absolutley going to be lowering soemtime this winter but when I do I want to do it right. If I were to order some H&R's with the K-Mac camber correction kit will my tires wear evenly after an alignment? Or is the K-Mac kit just crossing off one problem and leaving another?
