Couple Questions...

First, does anyone know the measurements of the bolt spacing on the stock wheels? A friend of mine wants to put some on his VW gti and wants to know if he needs spacers and what kind. I work at a Mercedes shop and can't seem to find the answer.

And second, has anyone ever thought about or tried suicide doors on a w124? I've been thinking about it for a little bit and was wondering if anyone has tried it or even if it sounds like a good idea.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

by bolt spacing do you mean like 5x112?
as for suicide doors, i think it would look hot an the benz, since it's so square. not sure how practical it would be since we don't have that much space back there, but it would still look cool!

What do you think its a bad idea? I'm just tossing the idea around and since I haven't found one that has them on it I'm just looking for some feedback...

...And I already submitted my video application and waiting for the reply...

lots of cars
The gti unless is a new one has a 5x100 bolt pattern. Any wheel with room can have the bolts drilled and inserts put int to change the bolt pattern to 5x112. You can change 5x114.3 wheels to 5x112. The centerbore on a vw is smaller so you will need hub centric rings.

Yeah he had porsche wheels on before and he had adapter plates for them. The are 5 x 112 as well so they're going to work. Thanks for the info.
