Need some advice on Monoblock II find...

I found a 4 Monoblock II's 18x8.5 et 47 with some curbrash

All 4 will need to be refinished...

He wants $400 shipped for them...but I am concerned over the repair and offset. Would a 5mm spacer on the front and rear work or would I need more like 10mm?

What do you guys think? I'm mainly concerned about the offset because if I need large spacers...that can get costly and make the purchase outside my budget range.

With that kind of curbage offer $300, the szie should work good but I'm thinking that you will need 5mm - 7mm spacers

lots of cars
You can get the lips polished for about $25-30 each...Those rims would look nice on a sl or s class but the offset is a bit high. Ask him to take a pic of the back of the wheel. The part number usually starts with the model car it came off i.e w21054234 or w1402324

He said it came off a mid 90's S-Class.

My concern is that the offset is a bit high...He is paying over $100 for shipping so I doubt he will go any lower....I mean he will probably only get like $275 for all 4 once he has paid for shipping to me...

These are the ones I want for my wagon hands down....I just love them!

Would 7mm spacers be enough?

Anybody else got any thoughts? Go or keep looking for another set?

Just got a quote back from a place and they said $150 a wheel to refinish. I'll keep looking for the right set for me

Least I know how much (ballpark figure) it costs for refinishing now.
