Cruise Control
On my 87 260E the cruise control wasn't working at all. I installed an Amplifier of a parts car someone had. It was the older version of the part but according to the EPC the one the car called for. I installed it and was thrilled to find that the cruise control worked! But one little thing. It holds speed well. Doesn't vary at all. But Im not sure if its just me but it seems that on a level road it Accels and Decels the throttle just a little. You can feel it just a little in your seat. You can also see it in the Economy indicator. The needle moves just a hair. Is this normal?

Thats good. I was starting to worry that I didn't totally fix my problem. Someone told me it might be the wrong Amplifier. But when I look it up on EPC it says thats the one for my car.

The worst thing that happened to me was the cruise control lever not working. I would be just sitting on a stop and all of the sudden the car would take off!! I was like WTF! but i just disconnected the linkage and everything is fine now..
