255/40 R17 or 245/40 on C124?

Hi!
I bought AMG Monoblock II.
Front rims are 7,5J-17 ET35
Rear rims are 8,5j-17 ET30
My car is equiped with ASR.
Is it possible to set 255/40 tires on rear wheels without modifications?
Or should I install 245/40? In this case, I'll have problems with ASR, won't I?

You need to roll the fenders to make those fit...

You should be able to squeeze the 245s on the rear. It is definitely the most popular rear size pairing for the 225 fronts on most cars with staggered 17 inch wheels.

Well, is your car lowered? If not, you can fit 20s on it. 245/40 should be ok, 255s i would roll the fenders. The rear is really soft and if you have people in the car they will rub.

Would I have problems with ASR with 225/45 R17 on front and 245/40 R17 on rear or ASR ignore such differences in wheel sizes?

TBD
I got the exact same sized rims and I think I'm going with 245-40-17 for the rear and 225-45-17 for the front.

Given that the rear rim is 8.5" wide, will the 245mm wide tire sit square with the edge of the rim? I want to avoid the tire looking like it's bulging or like it isn't wide enough..

You should get the ones that match your rear sidewall height best.

225s fit better on a 7.5" rim. The 215s are too narrow and the sidewall slopes in. Adjust the aspect ratio for height but get the 225s for width.

I'm currently at stock ride height but will consider a very slight drop when I update the suspension (maybe around a 0.25" to 0.5" drop). So would a 45 aspect ratio work for the 225's?

So I got my AMG Monoblocks on but the bolts stick out!!! I wonder if the bolts I have are even the stock bolts or if they are upgraded since my california chrome rims seem a bit wider than what's stock...

225/45/17 is ok if you go down with the car.
it is normal height on sportline and amg suspension.

but for the back you need 245/40/17
