$2000 car from india-smarter than a Smart Car?

I'm going with no. Smart is a benz product and therefore will have to adhere to certain quality and safety standards. Also, the whole Smart product is designed with recyclablility and minimal materials use in mind. It also tries to avoid the use of any materials that may be harmful to the environment.

you cannot compare the two. the smart car is designed for wealthy westerners and is 'smarter' than driving a (relative) gas guzzler for city driving.
The nano is designed to avoid this:
and as such more than accomplishes the task. the car is as 'smart' as a smart car for what it was designed to be... cheap and safer transportation for lower income people.

i heard they were launching it in europe to compete with the likes of the smart car. a load of bull if you ask me that !!!THING!!! is jus a skate board on wheels jus like Zed said to accommodate for the lower lower lower lower end of the marker!lol
