Having seen this car, in person, I know yours is the best example that one could hope to find. Being unaltered and responsibly cared for, it should appeal to the greatest range of buyers.
This is the car to have, but may me difficult to achieve that (deserved) price preium in this market.

I'm not so sure the used, foreign car price books would support your asking price, but there is something to be said for 'peace of mind' of a well maintained car.
If I was really interested in that model and the car checked out condition-wise, I would go as high as $7K-but that's just me. BTW, what is that 'thing' in the pic just below the passenger dash on the left?

Completely understand about the head gasket and wiring harness issues. But I tend to view repairs like that as 'parts only', because I do them myself. So if somebody tells me that they spent $1.5-2K on a head gasket repair with a shop, it's sort of meaningless (from my frame of reference).
