300ce/e320 coupe
You guys forgot about the smaller steering wheel that looks like the 500E wheel. it goes with the higher ratio steering box
also the shift lever has a sportline emblem on the top.
the seats are also different higher sides and more contouring to back
from what I have seen in pictures I think that the wheel wells are flaired more than the standard e320 sedan looks line 500e again
I would like to look at a 500e side by side but in the hills of western Pa there arn't many mercedes around to compare
i am the third owner (2nd owner was my uncle (he bought it in 1999 with 20K mile - it was his weekend car)--he gave it to me as a gift about 2 years ago)
it now has about 65,000 original miles on it (photos were taken when i got the car w. only 57K. lived all its life in california. no accident what so ever - clean california title.
as for the price. i am open to offers.

Sportline option pack included, 390mm steering wheel, logo shift knob, diferent steering box, thicker sway bars, different HD struts/springs and eight hole wheels. The sedan had different interior, 4 place seating in place of the five place seating and the front seats have deeper bolsters, same as the 500e. The Sportline coupe had no seat changes vs. non-Sportline coupe.
Lower fender cladding also has the Sporline logo on it.

just picked up a '94 e320 sedan. green over java leather. never seen a java interior in any e320 regardless of model. absolutely stunning interior.
car has some issues so it's a project car at the moment. on the plus side, everything works including the a/c and sunroof. on the minus side, needs a hood and top respray, undetermined oil leak, needs major service including tranny, probably a total suspension rebuild.
i'm in it 3 large, figure i've got a 3 grand cushion so when i'm done i should have a very nice car with a special interior. don't know much about these sedans but i love the interior so i think the money will be well spent.
any comments from you w124 owners will be appreciated. maybe some upgrades ala sportline, wheels, exhaust, etc. i still want a coupe but this interior speaks to me so i'll keep it also. thanks in advance, michael
p.s. anyone have have a sportline sedan. never seen one.
