I got a new toy! 230e v8
hello, my name is Luis, and I live in Costa Rica, central america, im new here, i would like to show you a proyect just finally complete and now is running in perfect condition
I have a W124 230e, sometime ago it have a problem with the original engine and it dont go anymore, a friend told my why dont put a V8 engine on the car... from that moment we start to read about the car aspects and what v8 engine we can use....
finally we decide to use a v8 5.7 chevrolet vortec engine with 4L80 automatic transmision on it... now it is super incredible!

I will do more videos! for now I am preparing the car for a some diferent kinds of upgrades and i want to remplace the original leather from the seats and put new leather on it...
the engine have a modified oil deposit to sit in the MB position, and the only performance what I do is the hypereutectic Pistons, and works the PCM

it was hard, because I dont even find any kind of info about put the engine like that in a benz... we need to put the engine in his "position" around 3 times to see the clearence space and put the engine, the firewall wan i little modification because the rotor of that engine is in the back of the engine... and it simple doesnt fit...
the central reinforcement bettwen the front suspention was hardly modified...
i got the front springs of the 300e car... the v8 is too heavy for the 230e springs...

the cost is really not much, my dad sell that kind of engines and he got this one, the really hard was put in there, that i think can do the most expensive thing if you dont do this for yourself
