Arrow Wheels/lowering for E500/500E

Hi Guys

I am new to the forum but not new to Mercs and W124s and W123s. I am looking into buying an E500 1994 W124 and was wondering where i can source some AMG wheels in 18 for the car?

I saw some on eBay that look pretty good:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Me...Q5fAccessories

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-x-...Q5fAccessories

I am open to suggestions so please feel free to shoot a comment about the above or authentic monobloks in 18.

Also, i am gona be wanting a lowering kit, now i've had a tough time trying to find one, can anyone help point me to a source for the H&R springs for the E500? Thanks.

Ejaz

Both sets of those wheels will fit, but they areally not optimum offsets for the 500e, they will be somewhat tucked and not really flush with the fenders. A offset of +18 to +25 would be better.

500e specific H&R springs are available on Ebay, so a search

Thanks Bro! I was just browsing eBay and came upon those. Would you happen to know a source for genuine AMG wheels? I'd rather get real ones than eBay ones Cheers.

You need 500e specific springs for the SLS, just make sure the springs are 500e specific and not 400e springs.

SLS is not a option on a 500e, they all have it, hence why some of the comments others have posted

That is correct on the face-lift...but the 93-95s are slower and have less HP than the 90-92s.

The H&R springs for the E500Es will be part number 29855...you can also switch out the spring pads to raise or lower the car some 15-20 mms in addition to the springs.

Hey Jim,
This is an old thread, resurrected by an opportunist ( UZIE) looking to sell his 500E. That post has now been deleted. Perhaps by the Moderator.
