I don't think his sedan had a reserve, 25k is a deal imo: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

All of his cars had reserves on them, upwards in the 50k range. The CE did not, which was a mistake on his part, I had thought he wised up and realized he was out of touch with reality, but he pulled the auction and listed the reason as an "error in pricing or reserve price". So it was obivous he isn't going to let the CE go for 25k....not that anyone is going to pay that for it anyway.
Not the easiest guy to deal with as he really doesn't know his own cars !!!

At $25K I would have bought the coupe.
Well worth it, even in a slow collector market.
I was waiting for the auction to wind down and then bid.
He did the same thing last year with his "Hammer" sedan, forgot to put a reserve price and closed the auction with a few hours left !!!

a Seller I know always 'forgot' to put a reserve price and ended most every auction early. it was his thinking that unreserved auctions bring higher prices
I know that this is the 124 thread, but did anybody else see the AMG 210 wagon that was recently on eBay? Real sweet looking ride, I think it went to 25 K without reserve being met.
