230E Sportline
I'd assume Sportlines are very rare there too? And original...
is my favorite way to find these cars, unmolested.

is my favorite way to find these cars, unmolested. And I think original Sportlines are rare across the whole w124 range. You find a lot of people who have mock Sportlines, adding badges here and there, some replace the seats, and steering wheels, others will upgrade the suspension. But using the VIN number you can see the truth.
The only thing I have changed in my car is the headunit, I spent months trying to find a Becker solution, but the cost is just mad, and in the end I opted for a subtle looking Pioneer unit, which cost less than the Becker iPod cable.... madness. hehe
The only other things I would consider for my car would be a slight audio upgrade in a small form sub/amp combo installed somewhere, and the 16" 8-hole wheels. The 15's are great, but I reckon the 16's would look very sweet.

I have had this 1991 300E for just under a year. I bought it from the original owner. It currently has 82,000kms on it, has never been in an accident of any kind, and has always been stored indoors. I installed a new head unit with bluetooth and a 12" sub in the trunk. 17" Rotiforms. H&R Sport Springs with Bilstein Shocks. I've got clear corner lenses, but they're cheap and won't sit properly.
